Field Technician: ERCES & DAS Specialist

The Mission: You are the boots on the ground making sure first responder signals reach every corner of a building. You don’t just pull cable; you install the life-safety backbone that keeps our communities safe.

What You’ll Do:

  • Install & Mount: Set up BDA (Bi-Directional Amplifier) cabinets, donor antennas, and indoor distribution antennas.
  • The Technical Stuff: Pull coaxial and fiber optic cable, terminate connectors, and ensure all wiring meets “fire-rated” standards.
  • Testing: Conduct RF grid testing and commissioning to ensure 100% code compliance (NFPA/IFC).
  • Troubleshoot: Identify and fix signal interference or equipment issues on-site.

Who You Are:

  • Experience with DAS, cellular, or two-way radio systems is a huge plus.
  • You can read a blueprint and don’t mind a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Meticulous—you know that a loose connection could mean a failed inspection.

Project Manager: Public Safety Compliance

The Mission: You are the bridge between our clients and their Certificate of Occupancy. You oversee the project lifecycle from initial design to the final fire marshal walkthrough, ensuring everything stays on schedule and above code.

What You’ll Do:

  • Project Oversight: Manage timelines, budgets, and crews for multiple DAS/ERCES installations across Atlanta.
  • The “Face” of the Project: Act as the primary point of contact for building owners, GCs, and electrical contractors.
  • Authority Coordination: Work with AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) to ensure our designs and installations meet every local requirement.
  • Quality Control: Review iBwave designs and final test reports to guarantee a “pass” on every inspection.

Who You Are:

Organized, direct, and focused on the finish line (the CO).

A pro at juggling schedules and keeping clients happy.

Knowledgeable (or ready to learn fast) about NFPA 1225 and IFC 510 codes.
